DeltaMind Login

The login module is a revised version, regarding data and layout separation (css), of the DotNetNuke core login module and enables easily to apply corporate designs. Furthermore the module was enhanced for seemless integration with the FlexiShop and Registration BusinessPack modules.

Compatibility

The Login works with DotNetNuke 3.*, 4.0.* and 4.*, supporting both .Net 1.1 and .Net 2.0.

Installation

General module installation instructions for the DeltaMind BusinessPack modules are described in the PAModuleInstallation or SourceCodeInstallation section. Additional web.config entries are not required.

The module is shown after inserting it to a pane, e.g. ContentPane (like adding any other module). The module can be set as default login module by setting the login page value found in the Admin\Site Settings\Advanced Settings\Page Management section. This module will also be shown from the <dnn:LOGIN runat="server" id="dnnLOGIN" /> skin control then.

Skin usercontrol usage

Another approach is to change the link target of the 'Login link' each portal normally has. To achieve this, you have to change the ControlSrc entry in the 'ModuleControls table to 'DesktopModules/dnnLogin/dnnLogin.ascx' where ControlTitle='Account Login', ControlKey='Login' and ControlType='-1'. This way has the benefit that the login module is independent from any TabID - necessary when building multilanguage portals in conjunction with DnnStyleMenu where the login page 'virtually' has different locations.
